Here at Treetags we’re all about planting trees. The more, the better…

But, you’ll be surprised that, although people know there are trees all around, they seem to know very little about them. People know there’s trees all around especially if you live in Johannesburg, one of the greenest cities in the world. But ask them to name some indigenous or exotic tree species and they draw a blank. Many people don’t even know how to correctly plant a tree or when to water it.

One of our many aims, here at Treetags, is to educate people on the importance of trees and how they benefit us and our environment. We like to educate the public on trees and we offer various educational programs for kids and adults alike. Below is a list of interesting tree facts we hope you’ll enjoy.

Our labels are extensively used throughout the world by:

National parks, game farms, lodges and farms

Golf estates, eco estates and domestic gardens

Holiday resorts, caravan parks and hiking trails

Nurseries and landscape architects

Schools and parks
